Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University formally welcomed the distinguished auditors of TÜV Rheinland today, marking the commencement of the ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) Stage 1 Certification Audit.
The program began with a warm welcome message from Dr. Verna Liza L. Capina, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services (VPSAS), followed by the official message of University President Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, delivered on his behalf by Dr. Leodegario M. Jalos, Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Quality Assurance Director Assoc. Prof. Raoul J. Magcamit then introduced the auditors and auditees, setting the stage for the day’s proceedings. Ms. Mary Grace Balobalo, TÜV Rheinland Auditor, presented the audit overview and itinerary, outlining the scope and objectives of the certification process.
Shortly after the opening program, the audit proper commenced with an opening meeting with the Top Management, followed by systematic audits across various facilities and offices of the university, including engagements with college deans and program chairs.
Simultaneously, at the MarSU Sta. Cruz Campus, under the supervision of Dr. Randell Reginio, welcomed Ms. Jogina Mendiola, TÜV Rheinland Auditor, who conducted the audit, ensuring comprehensive coverage across the University’s multiple campuses.
This milestone reflects MarSU’s unwavering commitment to quality assurance, accountability, and international standards in educational management, reinforcing its vision of continuous improvement and global recognition.
