Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University (MarSU) recently welcomed the two-member Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT) on February 25-27, 2026 as part of its journey to secure official compliance for the Bachelor of Science in Criminology program.

The visit was led by CHED MIMAROPA Education Program Specialist II, Mr. Ronaldo U. Pedrosa, and Mindoro State University CCJE Dean, Dr. Salcedo B. Tanguid, Jr. They were warmly received by MarSU’s Institutional Quality Assurance team under Assoc. Prof. Raoul J. Magcamit, together with CCJE Dean Asst. Prof. Jayceron L. Monteagudo, faculty, and students, and other high-ranking university officials.

MarSU VPAF Atty. Crispin Francis M. Jandusay opened the event with a welcome address, followed by the traditional Putong — a proud showcase of Marinduque’s culture.

The team toured CCJE and MarSU facilities, engaging with students and faculty to see firsthand the university’s commitment to quality education. After completing the validation process, they shared constructive feedback to help strengthen the program further.

This milestone brings MarSU closer to earning the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) — a big step toward ensuring that criminology students graduate with a program recognized nationwide.
