Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University warmly welcomed officials from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) at the University Lounge on May 16, 2026. The delegation was led by Usec. Harold Cabreros, Administrator of OCD and Executive Director of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), together with Dir. Arnulfo C. Matanguihan, Regional Director of OCD MIMAROPA.
Led by President Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, MarSU key officials received the visitors in a spirit of courtesy and collaboration, underscoring the university’s commitment to partnerships that strengthen disaster preparedness, resilience, and community safety. The visit opened opportunities for shared initiatives that will benefit both the institution and the wider Marinduque community.
