Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — MarSU’s Monday Flag Raising Ceremony was jointly hosted by the Office of the President, the Office of the University and Board Secretary, the Information Unit, and the Internal Audit Unit.
University President Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta commended the committees whose dedication ensured the success of the Commencement Programs across MarSU campuses. He also encouraged everyone to surround themselves with people who uplift and inspire and reminded the community to always pursue doing good to one another.
The ceremony further marked a significant leadership transition, with the formal turnover of responsibilities to Dr. Lynle Mendoza as Dean of the College of Business and Accountancy, Dr. Vergel L. Mayo as Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education, and Dr. Andy Soberano as Campus Director of MarSU Torrijos. Recognition was likewise given to the former leadership of Dr. Verna Liza L. Capina, Mr. Jayceron L. Monteagudo, and Assoc. Prof. Harvey A. Dulay, honoring their service and contributions to the university.
As MarSU continues to celebrate milestones and transitions, today’s ceremony reminds us of the power of unity, gratitude, and shared purpose.
