Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University (MarSU) proudly joins the roster of Philippine higher education institutions recognized in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2026, earning its “Reporter Status” released on April 23, 2026 (2:00PM BST /9:00 PST).

 

This achievement places MarSU among the 42 Philippine universities acknowledged in this year’s rankings, alongside other State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) such as Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), Bulacan State University (BulSU), Central Luzon State University (CLSU), Gordon College, City College of San Fernando, and Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU).

While Reporter Status means MarSU is not yet ranked in the main table, it signifies the university’s growing visibility in the global academic community and its commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and international collaboration.

This milestone strengthens MarSU’s institutional pride and highlights its potential to advance into ranked categories in future editions, contributing to the Philippines’ rising presence in the global higher education landscape.
