Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University (MarSU), under the leadership of University President Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta presented its Gender and Development (GAD) best practices during the 3rd Regional GAD Committee (RGADC) Meeting held on September 8, 2026 via Zoom.
Representing the institution, GAD Focal Person Marie Grace Anne M. Reynoso highlighted MarSU’s key initiatives, including the Empower2Achieve Agenda 2030, the “Hello Mr. President” digital platform, and various GAD projects executed in partnership with the Provincial Government of Marinduque.
The regional meeting opened with formal remarks from RGADC Chairperson Dr. Edna Imelda Legaspi, followed by a briefing on the status and updates of the partnership between the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and the RGADC. Romblon State University also reported on the progress of its Project Pag-ibig: Family Empowerment Center.
MarSU reaffirmed its institutional commitment to advancing gender equality, inclusivity, and community empowerment through policy development and outreach programs, attributing the milestone to the combined efforts of its faculty, staff, students, and community stakeholders.
