Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University (MarSU) has formally joined the Philippine Society for Quality (PSQ) as a corporate member, reinforcing its commitment to excellence in education, governance, and institutional transformation.

Earlier today, the Certificate of Membership was presented to University President Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta by Assoc. Prof. Raoul J. Magcamit, Director of the University Quality Assurance Division, at the Office of the University President. The ceremony highlighted MarSU’s proactive stance in embedding quality assurance across its academic and administrative systems.
Membership in PSQ provides MarSU with access to national and international networks of quality professionals. This strengthens the University’s compliance with global standards such as ISO 21001:2018 and aligns with the CHED ACHIEVE Agenda, ensuring that its programs and services meet rigorous benchmarks of quality and accountability.
Through PSQ, MarSU employees and students can actively participate in conferences, workshops, and collaborative projects that foster partnerships with industries, government agencies, and other academic institutions. These engagements are expected to generate opportunities for joint research, innovation, and capacity-building initiatives, positioning MarSU as a key contributor to regional development and national discourse on quality education.
President Zulueta emphasized that the PSQ membership is a strategic step toward MarSU’s vision of global recognition and ranking. By embedding quality assurance into every aspect of its operations, the University reinforces its identity as a forward-looking institution dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and internationalization. #MarinduqueStateUniversity #MarSU #EMPOWERtoACHIEVE #QualityAssurance #PSQ #SDG17
