Manila, Philippines — Marinduque State University (MarSU) proudly marks another milestone in its internationalization journey as its institutional representatives successfully completed the week-long Leading Internationalization: Strengthening Institutional Capacity and Canada–Philippines Linkages training on March 2, 2026 at The Bayleaf, Intramuros, Manila.
MarSU is among only 30 Philippine Higher Education Institutions nationwide selected through a competitive process to participate in this prestigious program organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE), with support from Global Affairs Canada under the Indo-Pacific Strategy.
Representing MarSU in the program were University President Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, Asst. Prof. Jholey Rose R. Leaño-Lancion, Director for International Relations and Linkages, and Asst. Prof. Raoul J. Magcamit, Director for Quality Assurance.
The training equipped higher education leaders with strategic insights on internationalization frameworks, global partnerships, and cross-cultural collaboration—further strengthening MarSU’s commitment to expanding global academic linkages and advancing internationally aligned higher education.
