Calamaba, Laguna, Philippines — The Bureau of Internal Revenue – Southern Luzon Cluster honored Marinduque State University (MarSU) as one of the Most Outstanding Taxpayers for Fiscal Year 2025 during its 2026 Tax Campaign Kickoff. Themed “Mahusay na Serbisyo, Katumbas ng Buwis Mo,” the event was held on February 27, 2026 at the Jose Rizal Coliseum Brgy. Real, Calamba City, Laguna.

A key highlight of the program was the awarding of the Most Outstanding Taxpayers. BIR officials and Commissioner Charlito Martin Mendoza personally presented the award to MarSU President Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, recognizing the university’s unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and full compliance with tax regulations.

The event was attended by deputy commissioners, regional directors, and representatives from revenue regions across CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and the Bicol Region.
