Quezon City, Philippines — It was a great honor for Marinduque State University (MarSU) as Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta was recognized as a 2026 Gawad Lingkod Bayani – Gawad Pagasa Regional Awardee by the Civil Service Commission Regional Office IV during the recognition rites held on September 10, 2026, at the Luxent Hotel, Quezon City.
The recognition was held as part of the 2026 Philippine Civil Service Month Celebration of CSC Regional Office IV. The occasion was led by CSC Regional Office IV Director IV Atty. Marites P. Lappay, with CSC Commissioner Atty. Ryan L. Acosta in attendance, and brought together distinguished public servants and fellow awardees from across the region.
Gawad Pagasa was a prestigious recognition under the Honor Awards Program (HAP) of the Civil Service Commission. It recognized outstanding public servants who had demonstrated excellence, dedication, meaningful initiatives, and contributions that had created a positive impact on public service.
