Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — In observance of Republic Act No. 12178, which declares May 16 of every year as National Education Support Personnel Day and in recognition of the global World Education Support Personnel Day, Marinduque State University proudly honored the invaluable contributions of its non‑teaching workforce through a week‑long celebration filled with gratitude, learning, and camaraderie on May 11-15, 2026.
University President Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta and CHED Commissioner & MarSU Board of Regents Chairperson Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III delivered special messages, underscoring the indispensable role of education support personnel in sustaining the University’s mission of excellence and service.
The celebration opened with a thanksgiving mass, followed by a parade and an opening program that brought together the MarSU community. A Health and Wellness Day was held, featuring a talk on stress management and free massage services for employees. Professional Development Day included a seminar on the ethical use of AI in the workplace, equipping staff with timely insights for the digital era. Sports and recreational activities energized the week, with basketball, pickleball, and badminton games fostering camaraderie and teamwork.
The celebration concluded with culminating activities at AML Resort, highlighted by the MSCAAPI General Assembly, team‑building exercises, and initiation rites for new members.
