Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University once again gathered as one academic community for the regular Monday Flag Raising Ceremony. Today’s program hosted by the College of Arts and Social Sciences carried special significance as it highlighted the celebration of Pambansang Buwan ng Panitikan, a nationwide observance honoring Philippine literature and the richness of our written heritage.

In his message. MarSU President Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta highlighted the enduring importance of literature and history as a foundation of national identity and cultural pride. At the same time, he emphasized the transformative potential of AI in education, reshaping teaching methods, enhancing administrative efficiency, and equipping students with future-ready skills.

The ceremony was further enriched by a special video message from Atty. Marites A. Barrios-Taran, Tagapangulo of the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino, who reminded the community of the vital role of Panitikan in preserving cultural heritage and strengthening the Filipino spirit.

MarSU closes today’s flag ceremony with pride, honoring Pambansang Buwan ng Panitikan, embracing AI in education, and carrying forward the inspiring message of the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino.
