Pasay City, Philippines — Marinduque State University (MarSU), led by University President Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, participates in the 2026 Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Annual Convention and General Assembly held on July 13-15, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay City.
Carrying the theme, “Transformative Leadership and Strategic Governance: Empowering SUCs for Sustainable and Inclusive Futures,” the convention gathers leaders of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) to discuss the future of Philippine higher education.
Joining PDPZ are Atty. Crispin Francis M. Jandusay, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Ma. Edelwina M. Blasé, Vice President for Research and Extension; Dr. Maria Morena M. Santos, Board Secretary; Dr. Alfredo M. Ofrecio III, Chief of Staff, Atty. Pearl B. DeLuna-Rodas, University Legal Officer; Assoc. Prof. Lenie P. Zulueta, Executive Assistant; Dr. Joy R. Profugo; Dr. Evangeline Mandia, Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences and Mr. Julie P. Rodelas, Campus Director.
Throughout the three-day convention, MarSU delegation will participate in discussions on governance, innovation, internationalization, digital transformation, human capital development, and research commercialization. During the opening ceremonies, PDPZ, who also serves as PASUC National Auditor, formally introduced the participating delegates from SUCs.
