About Us
The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services serves as the primary unit of Marinduque State University (MarSU) responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and enhancement of student-centered programs, services, and support mechanisms that promote student welfare, holistic development, and academic success. The Office plays a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive, responsive, and student-friendly environment that nurtures leadership, discipline, personal growth, and active participation within the University community.
Guided by the University’s vision, mission, core values, and institutional goals, the Office supervises the delivery of comprehensive student affairs and support services that address the academic, social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs of students. It ensures that student programs and initiatives are aligned with national policies, quality assurance standards, and the evolving needs of learners in a dynamic educational environment.

The Office likewise promotes student engagement and holistic development through leadership programs, student organizations, guidance and counseling services, scholarship and financial assistance programs, health and wellness initiatives, cultural and sports development, community involvement, and other student support services that contribute to the formation of globally competitive and socially responsible graduates.

Student Welfare Office
The Student Welfare Office oversees the implementation of programs and services that support the personal, academic, emotional, social, and career development of students. It ensures that students are provided with accessible and responsive welfare services that contribute to their holistic growth, well-being, and academic success.
Guidance, Counseling & Testing Services Office
Provides guidance programs, counseling interventions, psychological assessment, and testing services that support students’ emotional wellness, personal development, and academic adjustment.
Orientation & Information Services Office
Conducts orientation programs and information dissemination activities that help students become informed, engaged, and responsive members of the University community.
Career & Job Placement Services Office
Assists students and graduates in career development, employability preparation, job placement, and linkage opportunities with industries and partner institutions.
Student Assistantship & Economic Enterprise Development Office
Facilitates student assistantship opportunities and economic support initiatives that help students develop work skills while augmenting their educational needs.
Student Programs & Services
The Student Programs & Services Unit manages student-centered programs and support services that enhance student engagement, wellness, leadership, inclusivity, and holistic development through responsive and meaningful student affairs initiatives.
Admission & Registration Office
Facilitates admission processes, student registration, and enrollment-related services in accordance with University policies and academic procedures.
Multi-Faith Service Office
Promotes spiritual growth, inclusivity, and respect for diverse faith traditions through religious and values-oriented programs and activities.
Foreign Student Services Office
Provides assistance and support services to international students to ensure their successful integration and participation in University life.
Alumni Relations Office
Strengthens partnerships and engagement between the University and its alumni through networking, collaborative programs, and institutional support initiatives.
Health & Safety Service Office
Promotes the health, wellness, and safety of students through medical assistance, health programs, safety awareness, and emergency response initiatives.
Student Housing & Residential Service Office
Oversees student housing and residential services that provide safe, secure, and conducive living environments for students.
National Service Training Program Office
Implements NSTP programs that promote civic consciousness, patriotism, leadership, volunteerism, and community engagement among students.
Student Scholarship & Financial Assistance Service
Manages scholarship grants, financial assistance programs, and student aid services that support educational access and student retention.
Learning Resource Center
Provides access to learning resources, library services, research materials, and information support that enhance instruction and student learning experiences.
Sports and Wellness Office
Promotes physical fitness, sports development, wellness programs, and recreational activities that contribute to students’ holistic well-being.
Culture & Arts Office
Develops cultural awareness, artistic expression, and appreciation for heritage through cultural programs, performances, and creative initiatives.
SAS Research Unit Focal Person
Coordinates research-related initiatives, monitoring, and support activities that contribute to evidence-based student affairs programs and services.
Student Development Office
The Student Development Office promotes student leadership, involvement, discipline, volunteerism, and community engagement through developmental programs and co-curricular activities that foster responsible citizenship and holistic student growth.
Student Organization & Activities Office
Supervises accredited student organizations and co-curricular activities that encourage leadership, collaboration, creativity, and student participation.
Student Discipline Office
Upholds student discipline, institutional policies, and ethical standards through fair and responsive disciplinary procedures and interventions.
Student Publication Office
Supports campus journalism, student publications, and responsible media engagement that promote student expression, communication, and information dissemination.
Student Volunteer & Community Outreach Office
Encourages volunteerism, outreach initiatives, and community engagement activities that strengthen students’ social responsibility and civic participation.
