Session 1 covered the Key Provisions of R.A. 12009 and its IRR, providing participants with a comprehensive overview of the salient changes, policy directions, and compliance requirements under the new law. This was followed by Session 2 on Strategic Procurement Planning, which underscored the importance of proper planning, alignment of procurement with institutional goals, and the adoption of strategic approaches to maximize value for public funds.
On the other hand, afternoon session resumed with an in-depth discussion on the Modes of Procurement.
