Hanoi, Vietnam — As part of its continuing commitment to internationalization and academic mobility, Marinduque State University (MarSU) joined De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), Rizal Technological University (RTU), and Philippine Normal University (PNU) in a courtesy visit to the Philippine Embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam, marking a significant milestone in academic diplomacy and regional cooperation.
The visit formed part of the Philippine universities’ participation in the ILITE International Research Conference organized by the Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE). It provided a strategic platform for strengthening collaboration between Philippine and Vietnamese higher education institutions while advancing shared goals in research, innovation, and international engagement.
Ambassador Meynardo Los Baños Montealegre warmly welcomed the delegation and commended the universities’ initiatives to expand cross-border academic partnerships. He underscored the role of higher education institutions in fostering people-to-people diplomacy, knowledge exchange, and collaborative research—key drivers of sustainable development in the region.
MarSU’s participation in this international academic endeavor was made possible through the unwavering support of University President Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta (PDPZ), whose leadership continues to champion global engagement, research excellence, and faculty and student mobility. His vision has enabled MarSU to strengthen its presence in international academic platforms and contribute meaningfully to global discourse.
This engagement directly advances the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting inclusive and internationalized learning opportunities, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthened collaboration among higher education institutions across nations.
Through academic diplomacy and collective commitment, MarSU and its partner universities reaffirm their role in building bridges of cooperation that transcend borders and contribute to sustainable global development.
