Makati City, Philippines — Marinduque State University (MarSU), led by President Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta participated in the Friends of Saskatchewan Networking Reception held on February 24, 2026, at Makati Diamond Residences, Makati City.
Hosted by Hon. Ken Cheveldayoff, Saskatchewan’s Minister of Advanced Education, the event gathered Philippine and Saskatchewan stakeholders to strengthen dialogue, networking, and collaboration. Saskatchewan representatives showcased the province’s strengths in agriculture, energy, mining, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and innovation-driven trade, underscoring its role in global supply chains for food, fuel, and fertilizer.
Experts from the University of Regina, University of Saskatchewan, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic also shared insights on research, workforce development, and technology commercialization, opening opportunities for academic and institutional partnerships.
Together with PDPZ were Assoc. Prof. Lenie P. Zulueta (Executive Assistant) and Dr. Alfredo M. Ofrecio III (PMS Chief).
