Quezon City, Philippines — The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office (CHEDRO) MIMAROPA successfully hosted the Executive Briefing on Pertinent Gender and Development (GAD) Related Laws and Issuances at La Breza Hotel, Quezon City.

The activity gathered key officials, executives, and decision-makers from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the region to strengthen institutional compliance with national and regional GAD mandates. Through the briefing, participants were oriented on their roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities in mainstreaming GAD principles into governance and operations.

Representatives from Marinduque State University (MarSU) led by President Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, together with Ms. Erma E. Reyes, Ms. Marie Grace Reynoso and Ms. Reena Esguerra, actively attended the briefing, affirming the institution’s commitment to advancing gender equality and inclusive education. Their participation underscores MarSU’s dedication to integrating GAD perspectives in policy, planning, and institutional practices, in alignment with CHEDRO MIMAROPA’s vision for transformative higher education governance.
